Work with your physiology, not against it.
When it comes to exercise, nutrition and medicine, it has long been assumed that women are just smaller versions of men. Common sense would tell you this is not true... but in spite of this, very little research has been done specifically on women in these areas. This seems crazy given women make up about 50% of the population.
There is a lot of confusion in the market as all sorts of programs are out there pushed by anyone with an idea and a loud voice. This lack of science-based information often means women are doing the wrong training, eating the wrong food, not reaching their full potential, and/or often suffering unnecessary discomfort and pain. For example, how many of those programs take into account the menstrual cycle where there are large, repetitive changes in hormone levels?
I am working very hard to change all this. I have been doing research in the areas of physiology and nutrition for over 20 years and I have a wealth of experience implementing practical, science-based interventions specifically for women. I have directly helped hundreds of women from all levels of ability as well as reaching hundreds of thousands through my book ROAR, live presentations and my online courses.
The Women Are Not Small Men (WANSM) course is the extension to my book Roar and a culmination of a lot of my work. It is designed for any woman, or man, interested in using science-based strategies to help active women of any age reach their physical potential.
Core Course: The course is a comprehensive, science -based course about women like no other. It is comprised of 7 Modules containing 36 Chapters of video-based learning material in a relaxed, informative, non-threatening style.
Help with your learning. Each module has supplementary learning material, and links to other interesting and relevant content and critical thinking exercises.
I will answer your questions. During each of the 7 modules, you can submit your questions and they will be answered by me during one of 5 Facebook Live sessions. These video sessions are then made available in the course and are keyword searchable.
Recognition. A Course Completion certification will be issued once you have completed the course.
Technical support. We take great pride in the quality of our support and we aim to have a response back to you within 24 hours.
Weekly Course Modules
Community: Access to your cohort’s private Facebook group where you can chat with your classmates. Note. Although I may drop in bits of information along the way I will not be answering questions using this forum. Questions to me need to be submitted at the end of each chapter and I will answer them during the Facebook Live sessions.
Self Help: Chances are that your question has already been answered in one of the other WANSM cohorts’ Live sessions. Using keywords, you can search all the previous Live Q&A videos from ALL the previous cohorts.
Value: Revisit the content because you have access to it for a year.
