Your Most-Loved Content of 2025

by Dr. Stacy Sims
Dec 10, 2025

My mission is simple: inform and inspire women—and the people who support them—with science that actually matters. As we wrap up 2025, I’m highlighting the content you engaged with most: the articles, podcasts, videos, and posts that sparked curiosity and kicked off important conversations. Your attention is never something I take for granted. Thank you for reading, sharing, and being part of this community!

1. Longevity Advice Women Actually Need

This article reframes longevity from simply living longer to living better—active, vibrant, and strong across all phases of life. I share why resistance training, jump and sprint work, nutrition, sleep, and community matter more than the latest bro-science biohacking trends. And stay tuned, I’m currently working on a couple of big longevity projects for 2026!

2. How Much Protein Is Enough?

Protein isn’t just about muscle; it’s foundational for metabolic health, recovery, and resilience. In this piece, I break down updated science-based guidelines for active women (and how those needs shift with age and hormonal status).

3. Why HIIT Matters for Women’s Body and Brain Health

Long, slow cardio isn’t the full picture, especially for women. This article explains how high-intensity interval training (HIIT) and sprint work support muscle, bone, metabolic, and even brain health in a way endurance alone can’t. (Note: there is some recent research that shows the benefits of HIIT are EVEN greater than we thought. I’ll be sharing this with you in an upcoming newsletter!).

4. Jump to Improve Your Bone Health!

A strong skeleton is the foundation for lifelong strength. This piece explores simple, short jump-based protocols (yes, often doable at home for just a few minutes a day!) that help preserve and even improve bone density as we age.

5. My Official YouTube Channel Is Live!

2025 marked the launch of my official YouTube channel, a new hub for research-backed, practical content for women and anyone who works with and supports them. If you haven’t yet, now’s a perfect time to subscribe and catch up on video content I deliver several times a week.

Talking of YouTube, here are two of the most-watched videos on my channel this year: my supplement recommendations for women and top tips for increasing your daily protein intake. These are great entry points if you prefer video over articles.

Tired, Stressed, or Foggy? These 5 Women's Supplements Actually Work
Daily Protein Intake for Women: Practical Tips That Work

Both contain practical, science-based advice that complement the articles above.

If you follow me on social media, you might’ve seen this news already, but it definitely blew my mind! The podcast I did with Mel Robbins was the most-shared episode on Apple Podcasts in 2025 (in both the U.S. & Canada and the U.K.).

The Body Reset: How Women Should Eat & Exercise for Health, Fat Loss, & Energy | Dr. Stacy Sims

In addition, the shows I did with The Diary of a CEO and Huberman Lab were also in the top 10 most-shared shows of 2025 (even though the Huberman show was recorded in 2024!). And spoiler alert just for all of my newsletter readers: there’s another Mel Robbins episode dropping soon in the new year! (Dates still to be confirmed).

Exercise & Nutrition Scientist: The Truth About Exercise On Your Period! Take These 4 Supplements!
Female-Specific Exercise & Nutrition for Health, Performance & Longevity | Dr. Stacy Sims

There's nothing I enjoy more than collaborating with other like-minded experts, so this women's health roundtable for the Diary of a CEO podcast with Dr. Vonda Wright, Dr. Mary Claire Haver, and Dr. Natalie Crawford was a fun and rewarding experience. It seems you all enjoyed the content from it too, as this clip—on how to lose belly fat—was one of the most popular posts on Instagram. (ICYMI, you can check out Part 1 here and Part 2 here).

It was very touching to see this LinkedIn post, where we shared the Apple Podcasts news, receive so much engagement. Thank you for the kind words!

Overnight Protein Oats was one of the most popular recipes on my website this year. Quick, simple and nutrient-dense, it’s perfect for busy mornings and post-workout refueling.

Why This Year’s Top Content Matters

What stands out to me most is the common thread in everything above: it's not about quick fixes, extremes, or short-term gains. Instead, it's about building sustainable practices rooted in physiology, real science, and the lived realities of women’s bodies.

Whether you’re 25 or 65, just getting started with working out or a seasoned athlete, this is information that can serve you for decades, not months.

Again, thank you for being a part of my community this year. I hope you learned something that is making a meaningful impact in your daily life. I know your inbox is full these days; I’ll always respect it with two science-packed sends a month you can trust.

Here’s to stronger, smarter, and more empowered bodies—this year, and every year after.

With gratitude,

Where Do I Start? A Roadmap for Active Women Who Want to Get It Right
If there's one question I hear more than any other right now from active women, it's this: where do I even begin? There’s no doubt you're motivated and you’re asking all the right questions: you know that training, nutrition, sleep, and stress all matter, but the sheer volume of information out there has made getting started feel harder, not easier. Every week there's a new protocol, a new su...
Why Jet Lag Hits Women Harder
I landed back in New Zealand last week after a month in the US and it’s wonderful to be home, to be back with my family, and to be catching up on sleep. Well, almost. While my body is physically here, my body clock is still somewhere over the Pacific. Jet lag is one of those things that sneaks up on you. Your sleep is disrupted with multiple awakenings and you wake up earlier than usual, tire...
Far From Home, Close to the Work
I left New Zealand on April 12 with a carry-on bag, a full schedule, and the kind of quiet resolve that kicks in when you know you're heading towards work that matters. Two and a half weeks in, I'm somewhere between San Francisco and Los Angeles with a double espresso in hand, a voice that's taken a beating from back-to-back podcast sessions, and somehow I’m still (mostly) keeping up with my ...
